These are free, parent-guided lessons for kids to build small creative AI projects. They are self-paced, currently available in English, and use local browser projects.

Recommended AI Tool Setup

The course is tool-agnostic. Pick one parent-approved AI assistant the parent sets up and supervises.

Free · Parent-guided
Safety rule: Use ideas, not secrets. Do not enter real names, school names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, passwords, photos, medical details, financial details, account information, exact locations, or private family details into any AI tool.
Use a parent-approved AI assistant
Pick one AI assistant that a parent has chosen and approved. The course does not depend on any single tool, and it does not require advanced app-building or hosting tools.
Recommended starting point
Google AI Studio is a reasonable place to start — but it is recommended, not required. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or another parent-approved assistant also work. Availability and interfaces of third-party tools may change and are outside BrightBits Studio's control.
The parent controls the account
If the external AI tool requires an account, a parent sets it up and signs in. The child should not create their own account for this course. The parent operates the tool during the lessons while the child makes the creative choices.

Suggested setup

1Parent opens the AI toolA parent opens one parent-approved AI assistant on the family computer. The parent runs the tool during the lessons.
2Parent checks the settingsTake a moment to review the tool's settings and any privacy options before your child starts. Sign in with the parent's account if the tool requires one.
3Parent explains the privacy rulesRemind your child: use ideas, not secrets. No real names, schools, addresses, or other private details go into any AI tool.
4Child uses the project prompts with a parent nearbyYour child copies the lesson prompts into the AI tool while you stay nearby to supervise and help.
The copy-and-paste workflow
Each lesson gives copy-friendly prompts. The flow is simple: copy a prompt from the lesson, paste it into the AI tool, read the reply together, then copy the code the AI gives you and save it as one .html file. When copying prompts, use ideas, not secrets.
If the AI refuses, overcomplicates, or asks for private information
  • If it refuses or gets confused: rephrase simply and ask for one small HTML file only.
  • If it overcomplicates: ask for a smaller, simpler version with fewer features, all in one file.
  • If it asks for private details: do not share them. Say to use made-up, general ideas only and not to ask for personal information.
A note on third-party tools
External AI tools are made and run by other companies. BrightBits Studio does not control them and cannot guarantee that any external tool is child-safe. A parent should review the tool, supervise its use, and decide whether it is appropriate for their child.
Prompt-copying safety note
When copying prompts, use ideas, not secrets — never paste real names, schools, addresses, or other private details into any AI tool.
